circ loop multiplier?

I'm modeling a 124-unit multifamily building, and each unit has an
electric DHW Heater. I do not want to create 124 DHW loops, but I'm not
seeing a multiplier for circ loops. My other option is to model it as an
electric process load, but my concern is that no DHW use in the output
report will be highlighted by the reviewer.

Any thoughts?

Why can't you simply use one massive DHW heater? Unless you have different dynmaics for each apartment. The DHW will only effect the DHW load and not space conditioning. The circ loops for apartments,?I would think, are small and can vitually be ignored except for default values.

Hi Kristin,
If you went the route of making it a direct load, you could still show DHW use in the BEPS report. When you setup the direct load on the electric meter, select Domestic Hot Water in the Enduse drop down. The drop down includes all of the 12 end use categories.

Thank you for the responses. I tried both methods, and think I feel more comfortable defending the direct load on the meter route.

Thanks guys!
