Building modelisation uncertainties analysis

Dear experts,

I am looking for tools (software, books, papers) and methods to perform
the analysis of uncertainties when simulating a building energy model with
advanced simulation engines as EnergyPlus.
Thanks in advance

Yours sincerely,

I have not used it yet, but DesignBuilder (which uses EnergyPlus) has a new sensitivity analysis tool.
I think cove.tool may have such a feature, too.

We know that the very fact that there is a God requires that there should be elements we cannot reconcile; yet the moment we meet such elements, we are driven to wonder whether there can be a God after all.

You might consider ESP-r. It includes a formal language for describing what properties
of entities e.g. materials, controls, occupants or schedules are uncertain in a the model,
as well as the degree of uncertainty for each.

You can then ask it to run a Monti-Carlo or Factorial assessment
and it will save the full energy balance state of the model at each tilmestep for each
variant it tests (warning this might produce files in the order of 40-80GB).

You can then use the results analysis tool to look at any performance metric
in the model for any or all of the test variants in graphic, tabular or stats format.
