As some of you may know, ASHRAE is planning an energy modelling conference in April 2011 in Atlanta. The conference will be focused toward practitioners and one of the sessions will be on case studies. I'm in charge of populating that day-long session on April 5, 2011. I am looking for volunteers for this session. The case studies should address issues of modelling real world situations, HVAC systems, architectural enclosures, control sequences, etc, and should be oriented toward overcoming perceived or actual limitations of currently available simulation tools. The presentations are to be approximately 20 minutes in length, should have a Powerpoint component, and will be followed by Q&A session. I am looking for 12 case study presentations. Anyone out there got something they want to crow about?
If you are interested, please email me with your name, affiliation, contact info, and a 2 to 4 sentence description of your case study, including name of project, building type, and short description of the actual modelling problem overcome or issue illustrated. Thanks.
