Hi all,
I have been trying to model interior wallpack heat pumps which have supplemental hot water heat from a boiler. I do see an option to select hot water as supplemental heat source in the dropdown for heat pumps. However, when I use that option, I am not seeing any supplemental natural gas usage on the boiler at all.
When I try to run a dummy model with the systems only having the supplemental hw load as the heating load on the boiler, the simulation crashes with an error of "no load" on the loop, essentially saying that the hot water supplemental heat is not being recognized at all.
Has anyone tried this and got it to work?
