I've been experiencing a problem with preheat coils in eQUEST that meet the
load requirements but none of the energy use shows up in the BEPS report.
Is there any solution to this or is it a bug in the program?
With a system with heating-type = FURNACE, I add a pre-heat coil of type =
FURNACE and the total heating energy use drops from 900 MBTU to 50 MBTU, yet
there are no unmet load hours.
I don't see how the system could be meeting the loads yet using no energy.
If I look at the SS-B report there is a fractional use of energy for
preheat.
Robby, I believe the preheat and other heating coils combine in HVAC heating notation.

For example, if I switch the pre-heat source type from Furnace to Electric
there is no change in energy use for either fuel type.
