Allen & Shariff is seeking an Energy Modeler to be based in our new McLean, VA office, right at the McLean Silver line station. The candidate should be a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years’ experience in modeling building energy use using eQuest or EnergyPlus. The Energy Modeler will be involved in developing rapid energy modeling practices and will be essential to the creation of high performance buildings for both LEED and energy code assessments for large office building, high rise residential, education, health care and industrial projects. Knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED submission energy modeling protocols is required.
