In my role as an Energy Engineer, I have developed an expertise in whole-building energy modeling, utilizing tools like eQuest and Trane TRACE 700 to analyze and optimize energy usage in various building types. I have applied this skill to develop models for LEED Minimum/Optimize Energy Performance, utility incentive applications, energy audits, and code compliance. I have developed models for hospitals as well as offices, laboratories, K-12, retail, performance arts, and several others. I have a lot of experience using Energy Star Portfolio Manager for Benchmarking. I also possess strong technical writing skills developed through my experience in drafting comprehensive energy reports for clients, engineers, and efficiency program managers. Additionally, I have successfully conducted Level I, II, and III energy audits in accordance with ASHRAE standards. This experience has equipped me with a solid understanding of energy performance evaluation and the technical expertise required to provide actionable recommendations for energy conservation. I also have experience in submitting for other LEED credits including Enhanced Refrigerant Management, Indoor/Outdoor Water Use Reduction, and Interior Lighting. I am in the process of earning my CEM certification and am fully committed to obtaining it as soon as possible, recognizing its importance as a requirement for this role. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my skills in energy management to Kaiser Permanente.
