Scholarships to Attend Energy Modeling Conference
IBPSA-USA is pleased to offer up to eight scholarships for students and
young professionals to attend the ASHRAE Energy Modeling Conference in
Atlanta on September 30 to October 2, 2015. Funding is provided by the U.S

*Eligibility*

Recipients must be either
-
a student at a university in the USA during the fall term 2015, or
-
a practicing professional in the energy modeling field, who has
graduated from a USA university in 2013 or later.
*What?s Covered*
-
Conference registration, $350 student, $535 professional
-
Three nights hotel, actual expense up to $550
-
Travel allowance for airfare and ground transportation (train or
shuttle), actual expense up to $400

A letter describing your background and motivation for attending the
conference (up to one page)

Applicants presenting at the conference will receive priority

Compelling letters will receive priority

Earlier application submissions will receive priority

Faculty sponsors or employers may be contacted to confirm eligibility
*What Happens if You Receive an Award*

Reimbursements will be made after the conference following submission of
an expense claim form (available here: *https://goo.gl/D48M4v*?
Receipts are required. Advance payment will be considered in cases of
hardship.

Reimbursements will be in the form of a check in US dollars.
