REQUEST FOR SPEAKERS/PANELISTS, IBPSA-USA Boston

The IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association) -USA
Boston Chapter is requesting proposals for presenters for its upcoming
general membership meetings. The 90-minute meetings will consist of a
series of 10-45 minute presentations and/or panel discussions. The meetings
will take place in the Boston, Massachusetts area with an expected audience
of over 50 IBPSA members. Both practitioners and researchers are encouraged
to participate. If you would like to present or contribute to a panel
discussion on the following topic(s) please send us a one page bio,
including your interest and experience in the topic. If you would like to
nominate a presenter, please send his/her name and contact information. The
Boston Chapter Technical Committee will then finalize the presenter
selection and notify all applicants. Please direct your proposals,
nominations, or any questions to the appropriate contact below.

Mid-July meeting (July 12, 7:30-9:30pm at Harvard GSD). Topic: WEATHER &
BUILDING SIMULATION: Options for obtaining/generating weather files for
building simulation, the affects of weather on simulation results, future
weather files, and other related research or best practices. Contact: Nick

September meeting (date TBD). Topic: INFILTRATION & BUILDING SIMULATION:
best practice assumptions for infiltration rates in building simulation, the
affect of infiltration on energy consumption/simulation results, and other
related research or best practices. Contact: Sian Kleindienst
