Hello,
I am investigating the reason why a zone has a high number of hours
with heating load unmet. I printed out the hourly report variables from the
thermal zone [attached]. This zone has a very low internal load hence when the
thermostat is returned to normal from the setback it does not gain a lot of
heat. I see that the system is able to supply at the design supply temperature
of 90 F. However the CFM does not increase beyond the 40% minimum flow ratio. It
appears that the system is supplying enough energy to meet the instantaneous
load. However it is not looking to meet the lack of heat due to the heat
capacity.
Could anyone please explain why the program is not calculating a higher supply
air flow rate that would be required to meet the set point temperature.
Thanks,
Kris
