Invitation to a London workshop on

"The management of thermal performance risks in buildings subject to climate change"

This workshop takes place in the context of an EPSRC-funded research project. The aim of the research is to introduces risk and risk acceptance into the discussion of adapting buildings to climate change. Initial results will be presented to co-researchers, and to facility managers/engineers from practice. The ensuing discussion will cover ongoing efforts in the field, and specifically invites stakeholders to provide a steer on the approach taken. Special guest of the workshop is Jake Hacker of ARUP of CIBSE TM36 fame.

Programme:
18:00-18:30 Welcome, research project presentation (background, initial results, issues of interest)
18:30-19:15 Discussion, brainstorming on challenges in the field and how to move forward
19:15-19:30 Summary/closing
19:30- Networking, informal discussions (drinks and snacks provided)
