Has anyone else found that the requirement to model upstream equipment for district cooling served buildings often times produces worse results than not including it. No doubt the obvious answer is that the district cooling equipment is probably not as good as it could be, but does anyone have a view on this?
Typically it is out of the projects control to influence district cooling plant especially if municipalities control this equipment and require projects to hook up to it. In this sense it is not too different to taking power from local suppliers.
