Dear sir,
In Type 997 it is mention that it can be used for various configuration
like serpentine double serpentine etc.
I have simulated the model for single pipe. I would like to know how to
proceed for serpentine and double serpentine cases. Do I have to change in
any parameter to make serpentine case.
Thanks & Regards,

Sanjeev,
The parameters of the Type describe the pipe layout so yes, you would
have to change various parameter values in order to go from modeling a
single straight pipe to modelign a single or a double serpentine pipe. I
would recommend that you refer to the Type997 documentation, which can
be found in ..\Trnsys17\Tess
Models\Documentation\04-GHPLibraryMathematicalReference.pdf

David
Re: Type997: The model allows you to tell each pipe where it's inlet
fluid is coming from and the direction of flow. For a serpentine of 5
pipes, you would specify the flow pattern as:
Pipe 1: Inlet=0 (Connected as an input), Direction=1
Pipe 2: Inlet=1 (From Pipe 1), Direction = 2
Pipe 3: Inlet=2 (From Pipe 2), Direction = 1
Pipe 4: Inlet=3 (From Pipe 3), Direction = 2
Pipe 5: Inlet=4 (From Pipe 4), Direction = 1
