Streamlining the Initial Model

Hello,

I'm starting a new project which I have not done. I have edited and worked
with models in the middle of being made and seen them to the end. This will
be my first actual start to finish model. I've made a list of inputs that
would be needed while going through wizards and have set goals out to limit
the number of shells to keep my model simple enough to work with, but still
represent my actual building. There are a few things about actual parts of
the shell the I've learned from this user help page, i.e. don't worry about
sandwich rooms until detailed design process and fine tuning. My question
is there any other advise that can be given as far as a starting a model,
what things to look for and what to avoid. I know that there are a lot of
great articles throughout the archives that will be helpful in this
process, but as usual time is of the essence. Any quick thoughts would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Garrett Elder
