Dear eQuest Users:
I am letting eQuest autosize cooling capacities but I'm not sure which
report to look at. This is for an ASHRAE 90.1 model so I need to
oversize by 15%. The "30-minute" DOE2 Output QC Checklist says I should
look at PV-A for equipment sizes and compare it with peak loads on the
PS-C and PS-D reports. However the chiller on the PVA report includes a
rated capacity number for the chilled water loop and condenser water
loop. Which one do I use? Should the peak loads on the PS-C and PS-D
reports match up perfectly with the values on PVA?
