90.1 Climate Zone question

I have a question about the correct Climate Zone for 90.1-2010. This is for Toronto, Ontario. Table B1-2 lists Toronto in Climate Zone 6. Table D-2 shows HDD = 7306 for Toronto.

But the ASHRAE Fundamentals 2017 and the Ontario Building Code show HDD = 7006 for Toronto. That would put Toronto in Climate Zone 5.

Therefore, I am wondering if I should use Climate Zone 5 for determining the baseline model envelope characteristics for a LEED v4 submission? Or would that bring the wrath of the reviewer?

Thank you Rahul,
Standard 169-2013 shows Toronto, Ontario in Climate Zone 5A versus 90.1-2013 showing 6A.

I just so happen to have Fundamentals 2017 open at this time and saw that the Climatic Data for WMO#715080 HDD65 is 6333, CDD50 is 2799.

I think if you have a leg to stand on, then stand on it. As long as you are justifying your criteria and use consistently through your documentation, then I'd think the reviewer would acknowledge your due diligence and agree with you on this.
