Tables are provided that give energy rate in standby for a given rated appliance value. Rate of heat gain is quoted for sensible radiant, sensible convective, and latent as applicable. Usage factors and radiation factors are also provided. If your equipment doesn't match exactly with what's been tested you'll have to make some decisions on what would be reasonable values given the information available.
