The Building Energy Research and Analysis Group within the Electricity Infrastructure & Buildings Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is currently seeking several Building Energy Research Engineers and Scientists. The positions range from fresh graduates to senior level and will be supporting PNNL's Building Energy Codes Program with development, adoption, and compliance with residential and non-residential building energy codes. These positions involve using building simulation and other analytical tools to model and conduct simulations of building energy systems for high-efficiency residential and commercial buildings and for innovative technologies. Candidates with EnergyPlus or other energy simulation experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Other desirable qualifications include energy code development, project management, building commissioning, energy monitoring systems, energy economics and life-cycle costing, data-oriented programming/scripting languages and other computer software development skills. Positions are available in Richland Washington and Portland. Remote working situation could potentially be available for experienced, senior candidate.
