Hi all,

Many of us are energy engineers on this forum and I thought, it will be a
great idea to share an upcoming event. The Northern California chapter of
the Association of Energy Engineers has been pretty active, with an event a
month. Today they have a presentation from a distinguished speaker

*November 20 The Surprising Past, Our Amazing Present and Disruptive Future
of Electric Cars *

*Time: 4:00 ? 6:00 pm*

*Location: 5725 Alder Ave. Sacramento 95828 (Offices of ABM Building
Solutions) *

*Presenter: Guy Hall, Chief Strategist for Sac EV*

*Cost: No Cost for AEE members or Students, $10 for non-members*

Guy Hall is a Global Technologist with 29 years of R&D and Leadership for
Hewlett Packard (in Germany,Canada, Slovenia, Russia, India, China, Costa
Rica, Hungary, France), became interested in EVs in 2010 as a solution to
our environmental, economic and security challenges. He expanded the SacEV
membership 5x, and as President, established SacEV as the regional leader
for EV knowledge, events and activities. He is a Director of the national
EAA and the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition boards. He became the first
driver to navigate an EV from Tijuana through Canada to Fairbanks, Alaska,
while promoting electric transportation with utilities, government agencies
and news media en route. The Hall family owns a Nissan LEAF, Chevy Volt,
and Tesla Model S.

*Location and Parking:* The meeting is in the conference room of ABM
Building Solutions. The location is about a 6-minute drive south of the Hwy
50 and Watt Ave interchange. Park on the street or the lot next to the
building.
