Dear All,
In a model per.90.1 Appendix G requirements, is the proposed design system
with standard VAV terminal units at a disadvantage when night cycle control
of fans is set to "Cycle On Any" versus a baseline that is a PIU parallel
fan powered terminal unit with night cycle control set to "Zone Fans Only"?
The Baseline seems to use less energy because only fans in the terminal
unit only are employed for night cycling, whereas in the proposed design,
use of central fans night cycling leads to higher energy consumption. Any
thoughts?
Thanks,
Ramana.
