Modeling residential sized heat pump dehumidifier utilizing waste heat reheat

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to model a residential dehumidification system that has a
novel reheat method. Return air is brought in to the unit, hits the
fancoil, cooling the air to below it's dewpoint. The dry, chilled air
then is drawn past the 1/2 ton heat pump unit to capture the HP's waste
heat and is reheated to appropriate temperatures(approx 65F to 75F). This
system is contained in a small box that is ducted in parallel with the air
handling unit. The system also has its own small blower rated for 100cfm.

The idea is to avoid running the whole house's main 2.5 ton heat pump to
handle solely the latent load. The target design location for the house
has historically high latent loads(Washington DC in late September). This
is a small house, ~1000 sq ft.

eQuest does not cooperate too well when I attempt to model this system.
Post processing of hourly data inputs was suggested. Is there any other
method? Making another water loop heat pump specifically for this
dehumid. system does not work too well because it increases my heating
load substantially. eQuest doesn't like to use waste heat reheats.
