Hello Guys,
Can anybody please advise on how I can build a square building with a square hollow core in eQuest? The square hollow core is basically a garden opened to the sky without any roof. When I use custom footprint and start adding vertices, the vertices stay connected to make a polygon. I can't create a new polygon for the hollow core after I finish the building polygon.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
Regards
Ahmad

Make the zoning in the DD Wizard, Leave out the garden area but put in zones around the garden. wrote:
When you get to the DETAIL EDIT mode, go into the .INP file and change the INTERIOR-WALL to EXTERIOR-WALL, the wall composition to INT-Wall, and remove the NEXT-TO command and replace with SHADING-SURFACE = YES. I have been doing this on models for the last 3 months.
It works.
