LBNL releases version 1.4 build 1 of the Modelica "Buildings" library and
version 1.2.0 of the "BuildingsPy" Python package.
In Buildings 1.4 build 1, models for heat conduction in phase change
materials have been included. New in this version is also an interface that
allows calling Python from a Modelica function. Various issues have been
fixed and models have been changed to conform with the Modelica Language
Specification. This has been done to increase compatibility with
OpenModelica, which is work in progress.
For a detailed list of changes, see
http://simulationresearch.lbl.gov/modelica/releases/v1.4_build1/help/Buildings_UsersGuide_ReleaseNotes.html
In BuildingsPy 1.2.0, stricter tests for running the unit tests have been
implemented. The unit tests now check for better conformance with the
Modelica Language Specification.
The development of the Buildings library and of BuildingsPy has been moved
from subversion to github. The development pages are
https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings
and
https://github.com/lbl-srg/BuildingsPy
This has been done to facilitate collaborative developments.
