Dear All,

We are glad to inform you that the "iiSBE Net Zero Built Environment 2014 Symposium," the 17th Rinker International Conference will be held on March 6-7, 2014 at the University of Florida, Gainesville. The iiSBE nZBE 2014 Symposium will be an opportunity to exchange information on research, case studies, and emerging best practices. Although net zero energy is the major theme, the Symposium also invites collaboration on other net zero concepts such as net zero water, net zero carbon, net zero emissions, and others.

The scope of the technical program will include, but is not necessarily restricted to the following subjects related to a net zero built environment:

* Designing low energy buildings in support of net zero energy strategies
* Emerging strategies for net zero energy buildings
* Technologies in support of net zero energy, water, carbon, and waste strategies
* Net zero certification schemes
* Regional, national, and local net zero strategies and programs
* Case studies relevant to net zero energy, water, carbon solutions
* Net zero energy communities
