This month we are excited to have Andrew Krioukov, CEO and Co-Founder of Building Robotics to present about their work on M2M technologies which is also called the "Internet of Things".
Bio:
Andrew Krioukov is the CEO and Co-Founder of Building Robotics. As a Ph.D Candidate in Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley, he worked on software infrastructure for implementing building applications at scale. He has previously worked at Intel Research, Google and IBM on energy efficiency and large-scale distributed systems. Andrew is a recipient of the 2014 Forbes 30 Under 30 award in Energy & Industry.
Synopsis:
Building Robotics is changing the way people interact with commercial buildings by developing cutting-edge software solutions that increase comfort and optimize building systems. Our main product, Comfy, is software that enables a better relationship between people and their workspaces. Comfy provides instant control over temperature and lighting, while using machine learning in the background to reduce energy use. It can be installed quickly, connecting to an existing building's hardware and software, providing users with a simple web and mobile interface.
