The real estate sector is one of the biggest GHG emitters. To achieve the targets of the Paris Agreement, all existing building stock and new built have to become close to net-zero carbon buildings. Commercial real estate investors and asset managers around the world come to JLL to find out how to achieve this. The most accurate method to assess energy and carbon reduction opportunities is through dynamic building performance simulations.
That's why we're heavily investing in growing our modelling capabilities. For that reason, we're looking for motivated engineers that would like to work with the IES software suite (incl. iCD and VE) to provide fact-based energy and carbon reduction advice to our colleagues and clients. The projects are international, covering different asset classes, and include landmark buildings. The learning curve is consistently steep, and you'll be exchanging knowledge with a team of engineers dedicated to making the real estate sector more sustainable. We work remotely but also value interaction with JLL colleagues in our offices, which are located worldwide.
