Hello Dear,
We did a comparison of the heat load calculation using HAP 4.9 Vs
DesignBuilder software. The results were surprising that even though the
sensible load and latent load results obtained from both the software are
same, the supply air flow rate differs drastically as 120 cfm/ton (Supply
air flow rate obtained from DesignBuilder is higher than hap result). The
theoretical calculation of supply air flow rate also matches with the result
of DesignBuilder software.
So, on what basis the supply air flow rate is being calculated in HAP
software?
