Godfried Augenbroe memorial prize, endowed fund or similar - exploring your interest and support?

1 post / 0 new

Dear BLDG-SIM list members:

As most of you will now, our good friend and mentor Godfried Augenbroe, who was a thought leader in the building simulation field, passed away in May. Now some of his former students and colleagues are discussing the idea of setting up some sort of memorial fund or prize. At this point we are still in an early phase, so we are trying to find out who may be interested in this idea, suggestions on how to set things up, and getting a first feel of the amount of funding we might bring together. My colleague Zhaoyun Zeng has kindly set up a brief survey to collate input. If you are interested in this idea, can you please fill this in? At the moment it is only about getting a handle on what is possible, and have your inputs. Link to survey: https://forms.gle/FD59H5katQJqYHsUA
