Dear Colleagues:

It is our pleasure to announce FutureBuild, an international conference and networking event dedicated to the design of the built environment 2030-2050 and beyond. Building on our special issue in Building and Environment in 2012 we want to keep looking into the future, but now with a wider scope. This event will investigate what radical and transformative technologies and ideas might be being employed by that date, with a focus on the whole building, energy systems, communities and occupants. FutureBuild will take place in the city of Bath, United Kingdom, from 4 to 6 September 2013. Our website is now available at www.future-build.net. A call for abstracts is open and can be found on the webpages, with deadline for abstracts: 1 February 2013.
We would be happy to see some solid input from the BLDG-SIM communitiee and encourage you to submit a contribution.
