Susan will speak about the general state of simulation for LEED, including common blunders, difficulties with the required methods, challenging systems, needs for improved modeling and tools, educational opportunities, and general observations and opinions.
Susan Reilly, P.E. is president of Enermodal Engineering, Inc. located in Denver, Colorado. Enermodal Engineering, Inc. consults on energy and resource efficiency in the built environment. Susan has worked with design teams in Colorado and throughout the U.S. to incorporate greater energy efficiency and sustainable design practices into their projects over the past 15 years. She is a LEED Accredited Professional, a reviewer of LEED Energy and Atmosphere credits for RMI/Ensar Built Environments, and recently completed her role as technical support for the development of the Energy and Atmosphere sections of the reference guides for LEED-NC, CI, and EB.
