Existing Envelope Rotation

1 post / 0 new

Hi All,

We have an existing building to go for LEED CS. The envelope is renovated to be more energy-efficient. According to ASHRAE 90.1-2004 rules:

"For existing building envelopes, the baseline building design shall reflect the existing conditions prior to any revisions that are part of the scope of work being evaluated. "

Could anyone advise if in such a case, the Baseline, i.e. the original building envelope before renovation, still have to rotate 90, 180 and 270 degrees, or just "reflect existing condition (the actual orientation)"?

Thanks,

Rick, PE, LEED AP
