(A) I was wondering if anyone has a sample eQuest model, or knows where to find one, for a multi-family apartment-style building that is built to a very high energy efficiency standard such as Passive House, with a energy use intensity of less than 100 kwh/m2 (about 1,000 kWh/ft2), ideal for a colder interior (not coastal) climate.
(B) How would I model an air-source heat pump with electric resistance backup, with the electric resistance heat kicking on at 14F and colder?
(C) PassiveHouse design methodology has a requirement for an ACH of less than 0.6 @50 Pa test pressure. What level of infiltration would you use as an equivalent to 0.6 ACH @50Pa in the CFM/ft2 input in the wizard? (The default eQuest value for this is 0.038 CFM/ft2).
