jEPlus v1.6.0 is now available to download on SourceForge . There are three main improvements in this release:

1. Reading values from E+ tabular reports in eplustbl.csv - compared to using SQLite, reading from eplustbl.csv offers an simpler way to access E+'s tabular reports. It also helps eliminate the computing overhead associated with generating the SQLite output in the first place.

2. Python scripts for post-processing - the mechanism for using Python in result collection and post-processing has been overhauled. Two example scripts are included in the jEPlus package, one for reading from miscellaneous reports and one for calculating peak values from hourly output. More examples will be provided on the website.

3. Importing/exporting jEPlus project file in JSON format - this makes it possible to create and modify jEPlus projects using external programs.
