I am modeling a water loop heat pump system which includes a fluid
cooler and two hot water boilers. During the cooling season, the
boilers are off and the loop runs through the fluid cooler. During the
heating season, the boilers are on and a bypass to be installed prior to
the fluid cooler. I am not sure how I would model this bypass valve in
equest so that the system when in heating will bypass flow to the fluid
cooler.

Can this be modeled or would it be best to perform a calculation to show
the loss during the heating season if the bypass valve is not modeled?
