[Equest-users] energy savings based on altered AHU temperature setpoints

1 post / 0 new

Modelers,

I am trying to predict energy savings for some ECMs involving temperature set-points of large AHUs. All the parametric runs are set up, but I have only included reduced airflows, and of course the actual set-point changes.

These are existing AHUs that we are looking at. Do I need to plug in the adjusted cooling and heating coil capacities in addition to the new CFMs, based on my spreadsheet load calculations? My concern is that eQuest is not picking up the savings related to reductions in the heating hot water need, since the CFMs are based on cooling load calculations.

Any thoughts??
