Dear building simulation community,
We?ve opened a position for a post-doctoral researcher associate or research assistant at the ETH Zurich Future Cities Lab (FCL) in Singapore: https://apply.refline.ch/845721/4481/pub/1/index.html
The requested qualifications are a Master?s or PhD in engineering or related field, with a skillset on related topics to building system design, operation, performance evaluation, simulation, and optimisation.
The focus of the position is the use of simulation and data to inform the performance evaluation and optimisation of a non-conventional building energy system implemented within a 550 sq. m office space in Singapore. The work is part of the "3for2 Beyond Efficiency? applied research project, which started at FCL in 2014. The project is witnessing academic researchers fully oversee the design, construction, and operation of an office space, with the primary objective to determine, study, and physically test feasible solutions that will make the office the most energy-efficient in Singapore by 2018. The project was featured last year on CNN as one of "5 things every city should steal from Singapore?.
For those of you interested in the position, please get in touch with me directly.
From those of you in research and in a supervisory capacity, I?d be grateful for your help in disseminating the position?s call.
We are looking to fill this position with a start date within Q2/Q3 of 2016.
Regards,
-----
