Building Analyst (Energy Modeler) Cobalt Engineering is currently seeking
an experienced Building Analyst for our Vancouver office.
The successful candidate who will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant
experience will play an integral role within Cobalt?s Energy Modeling Team
and be responsible for providing building energy modeling and analysis
services for our projects.
You will have a university degree in Mechanical engineering or a related
engineering field and ideally, already have the P.Eng. qualification. You
will have solid understanding of building mechanical systems design,
building physics, thermodynamics and advanced building energy analysis. You
will be proficient in using advanced building energy modelling tools (IESve,
DOE-2 or equivalent). You will be proficient in structuring and conducting
advanced analytical work and preparing comprehensive analytical reports. You
will be competent in interpreting information from engineering design
drawings and documentation.
You will be a self-motivated team player, creative, pragmatic and analytical
with attention to accuracy and detail, have good communication and
organizational skills, and be responsible, dependable and committed to
excellence on all levels.
