This 2-day training introduces attendees to eQUEST, a free simulation tool
available for download from doe2.com, and demonstrates how to use it
efficiently for tasks ranging from preliminary analysis of energy
conservations measures to in-depth energy studies. The training covers
eQUEST Wizards, Detailed Data Edit Mode, Parametric Run tool, and
calibrating eQUEST models to utility bills. The handout includes
step-by-step modeling instructions and supporting calculations for two case
studies.
HVAC Modeling (Modeling 301)
$141 after NYSERDA discount (for eligible attendees only)
The training focuses on modeling common air-side HVAC systems and related
energy efficiency measures such as single zone VAV, advanced ventilation
controls and energy recovery. Fan power and VAV system optimization will be
covered, including modeling static pressure reset control. The training also
provides in-depth coverage of related Detailed Reports as well as working
with eQUEST performance curves.
All trainings are eligible for 7 continuing education hours per day for
architects, engineers, and LEED APs.
