Managing Your Energy Modeler in Early-Design to Achieve High Performance

3-4:30PM PDT. The session will include hands-on participation and
demonstrations.*
The session is intended for managers and designers who would like to lower
the cost of achieving high performance buildings through integrated design
during the critical early design phase. Managing the energy modeler, and
integrating the modeler into this early process, is critical to the success
of this early team process.
The session focuses on how you can obtain energy simulation results quickly
and at low cost to verify your early design assumptions. Your energy
modeler will face special challenges in producing accurate results quickly
when many details about the design are not yet available. This session
presents you with hands-on problems for you to solve, coupled with example
results from typical simulations.
