Dear All,

I wanted to share with you information about the upcoming IBPSA-Houston
conference. IBPSA-Houston's 6th Performance Huddle conference is happening
on Oct. 21 and is fully online, This year, the conference is featuring a
2-hour covetool workshop that will go over
designing day-lit, glare Free, energy-efficient buildings on budget using
Covetool.

Also, the conference features two keynote speakers, Alejandra Menchaca

from Thornton
Tomasetti and Nathaniel Jones
from
Arup who will be giving presentations on "Natural Ventilation in
Post-Pandemic Times" and "Equity and Thermal Comfort" respectively.

There will be four short presentations by Kirksey, Perkins&Will, Gensler,
and Harvard Graduate School of Design on topics such as best modeling
practices for high-performance building design to machine learning for
embodied carbon predictions.

I believe that practicing professionals, researchers, faculty, and students
will benefit from attending this conference, tickets are offered for a
nominal fee of $10, and $5 for students.
