eQuest keeps crashing when try to execute a parametric simulation. I get this error message when I open the software. I believe it has something to do with the program crashing but I don?t know how to resolve the error.

I frequently get this error and when you click continue it resolves itself. In cases where it does not resolve itself eQuest typically gives you a list of all the errors on the side and then some information about where the error is occurring. Were you trying to edit the inp file before the error started occurring? I don?t remember exactly what format the information is presented in, but often if you?ve been editing the inp file it?s as simple as finding the line you added and finding you forgot a ?..? at the end. Sorry I don?t have a broken model right now to figure out exactly how the error finding works.

Chris:

What version of Windows are you running? I have 3.64 loaded both at home and at
work. Windows XP at home, no problems. Windows Vista at work, BIG problems.
Switched to Windows 7 at work, NO problems.

So it may be as simple as that.

It was a problem when I changed something with the meters. I have it working now.

The .BDL can also be opened in a text editor and there look for the word ?error?. You can find what it is and correct it.
