modeling all glass sunroom

Hi,

I am trying to model the heat gain due to the addition of an
unconditioned all glass (incl. roof) sun room. What is the best way to
go about this?

Thanks

Namrata,
Look in DOE-2 Help -> Contents -> Volume 3: Topics -> Envelope
Components -> SPACE as a Sunspaces. I have not modeled a SUNSPACE
before, and the topic is not mentioned much on this list, so I can't
comment about how useful the modeling capability is in eQUEST.

The advantage of sunspace is that it allows you to have windows in the
interior wall through which radiation will go through (not sure if
daylighting will be calculated - should be mentioned in the manual). If you
do not have any windows on the interior wall, you could possibly make all
the walls as windows (never personally done this).
