Hello dear eQuesters
I am using some equipment that are operating outside the allowed ranges
of eQuest and for that I get errors.
To allow the simulation to happen I type "DIANOSTIC NO LIMITS.." at the
.inp file. Although I have used this command in the past, it doesn't
seem to work now. I suspect there is a file/directory conflict, which I
cannot find although I have tried many possible combinations. Does
anyone have experience in this to advise me?
Kind regards
Christina Galyfianaki
Christine:
I went back to some old DOE2.1E? .INPfiles. There was a dash between NO and
LIMITS (NO-LIMITS). Try that.

Thanks for the advise.
But this is not the case, it won't work with the dash either. I still
cannot make it accept the command and getting errors.
I have been trying this for hours.....
Any ideas will be much appreciated.
Kind regards
Christina Galyfianaki
I am running DOE22 from the command line. I just tested
DIAGNOSTIC NO-LIMITS ..
and it is accepted. Not sure why equest is producing an error.

Hi Folks:
Has anyone ever tried modeling this type of system in eQuest ?? This is, as I
understand it, a combo space heat/DHW with separate cooling.
My humble thanks in advance.

Christina,
Maybe you have figured this out already, but anyways, I think you are
writing 'DIAGNOSTICS' instead of 'DIAGNOSTIC'.
Try it without the S at the end and see if it works.
