I am trying to model a building using heat pumps, however, there will be no
backup heaters in the building. Is there a way to disable this from the
model? When I ran the wizard I selected the heating source was "DX Coils
(Heat Pump)" but when I go through the reports there is consumption for "HT
Pump Supplem".

Try this:
Under Air-Side System HVAC Parameter, Supp Heat/Defrost, try entering a
really low number for the HP Supp Heat Capacity, on the order of .001 Btuh
or so.

I found that tab and have been playing around with it. I switched the
source on all of my heat pumps to "Not Installed" but I'm still getting some
supplemental energy use (although it is relatively small). Thanks for the
tip!
