Equest EEM Error

Hello everyone,

I searched through the equest archives and couldn't find a solution (someone
else had this problem but no one offered a solution).

Anyways, my problem is that while using the EEM Wizard my EEM changes are
not saved (I'm trying a basic Glazing EEM-changing the U-value/SHGC). After
I make the change and hit done, I then go back into the EEM and it has
reverted back to the original values. Does anyone have a solution or ran
into this problem before??

Thanks,

Ben Jordan

Hi Ben,

You may be better off emailing the eQUEST list-serv (you need to sign up for it similarly to how you signed up for Building-Sim List). I have had some problems with weird EEM Wizard behavior - my solution was to manually edit the .pd2 file in wordpad. When you open the file, scroll down to the bottom - you should see where it describes your EEM measures. You can then make changes to the file (you should see the structure with the existing EEM measures - just be sure to follow that).

Another solution is to change to the Detailed Edit mode and make parametric runs - I've had less problems with them.

Good luck,
Alex
