mechanical ventilation independent from air cooling system in eQuest

Hello,
Which is the best way to deal with a mechanical ventilation system (with
economizer and heat recovery options) independent from the air cooling
system?
To reproduce the physical system, two air systems should be defined for
each zone, one for cooling (for example split system single zone DX),
and another for ventilation (each one with its own fans). Would it be
possible to define two air systems for a zone?
The other option is to trying to include the ventilation system effects
into the air cooling system, but it won't lead to a precise treatment of
both fans.
What do you think?
Regards,

Hi -
ASHRAE 90.1-2004 requires heating capacity sized with 1.25 ratio in the
baseline. For the system #8, VAV w/PFP, there is no air-side heating sizing
ratio input in eQuest (heat
source is installed at zone level).
How did you model this?

Thanks in advance,

Yu

How can I model two separate air-side systems for one thermal zone? Such as in your case.
