I've got a 4 storey building modeled in DD wizard (floors have different outlines). Model results are pretty close to actuals. Except the heating load is too high. Should be half the current model values each month, eg 20kWh -> 10, 4 -> 2. The shape of the load is pretty good with spikes in the right places. Just need to reduce the magnitudes.

Tried reducing the infiltration. Moves the magnitudes in the right direction while preserving the shape. But setting infiltration to zero doesn't move the heat load enough.

Tried looking through exterior surface u values in detailed report. They seem reasonable. It's more like a wall is missing. Such is not apparent in 3D view. But the wizard did stick a couple of adiabatic surfaces in for some of the coplanar walls.

What can one do to find the cause if the high heat load?

When I go to detail mode and turn off supplemental heat on the hear pumps the results are correct. Can the supp heat be turned off in the DD wizard?
