I've been experiencing the following error when opening eQuest project files as of recently, and thought it was an issue with some of the root-files. I re-installed eQuest and still encounter them. I am able run simulations and have no problems with any program capabilities after opening and closing the files a couple times.

When installing (reinstalling) eQUEST you have used the default "All
Users" option for the installation. I would strongly recommend the
"Just Me" option for the installation. It puts the eQUEST data files
and project files on a subdirectory of "My Documents" instead of the
shared files directory which often has restricted access etc.
