Dear All,

What is the meaning of "*********" in the BEPS / BEPU Reports? Also,
why would natural gas consumption be displayed as negative?

Additionally, why would one get natural gas consumption under MISC Equipment?

Thanks a lot,

Omer,

"*********" represents a number with several digits which is not able to fit in the available screen space of report.

Omer--send your pd2 & inp files and maybe we can see some inputs that are
causing this issue for you.

Natural gas consumption under misc equipment is usually from a boiler/furnace pilot light. I think the eQuest default is 800 BTU/hr.

********* in the BEPU reports usually indicates that the number to be
displayed has too many digits for the allotted format - it is usually an
excessively large number!!! When this happens, the first thing I do is look
for a decimal error. For instance, if it is heating natural gas
consumption, I will look at the boiler capacity to see if I have forgotten a
decimal.
