I?m not sure whether the custom hourly report variable options provide a direct means to see the calculated direct/reflected illuminance, before or after shading elements. Might be in there somewhere but I didn?t see on first pass through the options.
That said, perhaps your needs would be satisfied with the LV-L report, which provides a pretty detailed breakdown regarding exterior illuminance measurements? I think you need to enable daylighting for the space hosting the surface/window of interest.

Here are some options I did find within custom report hourly outputs for windows, which are more focused on solar radiation (total spectrum of solar energy, not just visible light). There might be something specific to illuminance (fc/lux) elsewhere however such as for surfaces?

These are about the daylight sensor in the zone it seems.
Energyplus has a few solar radiation rate variables specific to windows, not sure about eQuest.
